My name is Victoria Hings and I am based in Market Harborough. I have been teaching piano, keyboard and theory lessons for over 20 years, both at home and in schools. I have experience of teaching pupils of all ages and abilities, from primary school to pensioners. Some of my pupils learn piano purely to achieve personal goals, whilst others need the motivation of taking exams. I am an ABRSM piano teacher. 100% of my pupils have gained exam passes , with the majority achieving a merit or distinction.
I hold an enhanced DBS certification.

I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to have a life enhanced with music. My passion for music stems from my childhood, having had the privilege of being able to have lessons at an early age.

I offer 20 or 30 minute lessons on a one to one basis from beginners to more experienced students. I tailor every lesson to each individual's specific learning skills. I believe strongly that one method of teaching style does not suit all pupils and everyone's progression is individual to them and needs to be adapted accordingly.
